Savor a piping hot bowl of soup and take the chill off winter at our “Souper Sundays” series! Each Souper Sunday will feature a different gourmet soup prepared by a local chef. Pairings will be suggested with one or more of our wines.
On Sunday, Feb 11, we will be featuring Caldo de Mariscos by El Mariachi Restaurant from Montross, VA. This delicious seafood stew includes clams, fish, mussels and shrimp, plus vegetables. It will be topped with fresh cilantro and onions and served with tostadas. El Mariachi will be on-site with other food items for sale, including dessert.
Live music will be performed from 1-4pm by David Smith.
Advance tickets will include a bowl of soup, bread, a glass of wine and souvenir wine glass for $15/person.
Tastings of our award-winning wines will also be available. Normal wine tasting fees will apply; Estate Club members will receive complimentary wine tastings.
Guests may bring additional food items to enjoy but no outside alcohol is permitted.
Advance ticket sales have now ended for this event. Food will be available for sale on a first-come. first-serve basis at the event beginning at 12pm.
